Why Dentists and Chiropractors should send out Holiday Cards
There are large dividends to be had by sending out Holiday cards to your patients. First off it is just a nice gesture that is well received. More importantly sending a Christmas or Holiday card to your existing patients helps increase patient retention (keep your patients), helps reactivate past/inactive patients, and keeps your name top of mind so your patients can refer you to the loads of friends and family they see over the holiday season.
It is foolish not to send out a card! This is by far the absolute best time of year for referrals. With all the office parties, Christmas gatherings, new year’s parties and more going on, your patients are going to have some solid time to talk to their co-workers, family, friends, and meet new friends. This time opens up the opportunity for people share if they are having pains, need a dentist, where in an auto accident, or whatever. This is when your patient who just received your kind card in the mail mentions, “Hey you should really go see my Chiropractor/Dentist!”
You might be concerned that you don’t have enough time. In fact, even if you cards arrive on the 22nd of December you made in time. Plus your cards will be displayed by your patients until after new year’s. How awesome is it when your patients display the card you send. Then during holiday events, their friends say, “wow, your chiropractor/dentist sent you a holiday card?”
